Bangladesh's Rockstar Parambrata!

Parambrata Chattopadhyay is set to play the role of a Bangladeshi rockstar in the upcoming Shabnam Ferdousi directorial 'Ajob Karkhana'. The film will also star Sadia Shabnaz Emi and Doyel, among others. The cast began filming from March 15 in Mymensingh, Kushtia and Dhaka.

“The film is based on a personal experience that I witnessed,” says the director. “Ajob Karkhana explores the journey of an individual finding himself, and eventually becoming a true artiste.” She further mentioned that Parambrata Chattopadhyay did a brilliant job. “I am glad to have him as my rockstar,” adds Shabnam Ferdousi.

Samia Zaman, the producer of Ajob Karkhana, refers to the film as one of her most challenging projects till date. It will also feature folk artistes from rural Bangladesh.
