Arafat Mohsin and Raba Khan pair up for ‘Muhurto’

Stars from two distinct worlds – popular music director, producer and singer Arafat Mohsin has multi-talented comedian/influencer Raba Khan have collaborated for an album titled "Muhurto". The duo, who had been planning for this for a while, have put out two inspiring releases in "Domka Hawa" and "Jao Jani Na", had been planning for the album from last year.

"In the end, we mustered up the time and effort to work together on the album", says Arafat Mohsin. The tune and composition for the 7 songs in the project were done by both Raba and Arafat. "Raba Khan is an extremely talented individual, and she gave her all for the album. We plan to release two tracks every month".

Meanwhile, "Jao Jani Na" has crossed 1 lakh views on YouTube, which can be considered a milestone for such a nuanced project. The duo have purposedly shied away from doing music videos for the songs, instead opting for a simple lyric-video format. "I believe that if the music is good, it will get its due fanfare, irrespective of how long it takes," says the producer.

Arafat Mohsin gained fame as a part of Studio 58, going on to produce numerous hit projects for all platforms. His upcoming work includes the Raihan Rafi directorial film "Damaal" and the upcoming OTT film "YouTumor" by Adnan Al Rajeev.

The next song, "Moharani" will release on June 22. All of the songs will be available on Jhakanaka Project's YouTube channels and streaming platforms worldwide, under Arafat Mohsin.
