Afzal Hossain working on his autobiography

Apart from being a renowned actor, Afzal Hossain is a painter, writer and poet. His books have been a regular attraction of the Ekushey Boi Mela, for years.

Hossain has recently started working on his autobiography, Olposholpo Dirghojibon, through which he hopes to share key moments of his life, starting from moving to Dhaka from his hometown, Satkhira, to how his love for films emerged. "This is quite a largescale project for me," shares the actor.  

On the other hand, Hossain recently lost his friend and colleague Rezaul Karim Reza and as a tribute, he recently wrote a poem in his honour. He urged his fans and well-wishers to stay safe during these tough times.
