Actor Farooque admitted to the hospital

Noted actor and Member of Parliament Farooque was admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka recently, a week after he was released from the hospital on August 26.

At first, he was admitted to the hospital due to fever and common cold and got tested for the coronavirus twice. His results came out negative both times. After his initial release, he suffered from fever again, and is currently under observation.

"I request everyone to pray for his fast recovery. We hope he returns home soon," says Farhana Farooque, the actor's wife.

Making his debut with Jolchobi, Farooque won the hearts of millions with memorable performances in Lathial, Mia Bhai, Noyon Moni and Golapi Ekhon Train E, among other films.
