‘Amar Bangladesh’ strikes a chord with audiences

Celebrating 50 years of Bangladesh's independence, plenty of creative content were made for TV and online media to pay tribute to the nation.

On December 15, 2021, the short film, "Amar Bangladesh" was released to much appreciation from netizens.

'Amar Bangladesh' has been viewed 30 million times till now. It portrays the serene beauty of Bangladesh, capturing the spirit of the nation.

The intention of this film was to represent the glory of our country and invigorate the tourism of Bangladesh. The camera travelled from the mountains to the sea, from the jungle to the rural roads.

 Bangladeshi artiste Nidra De Neha and British citizen Alex Dobson star in this film, presented by Meril and Radhuni.

This film is the brainchild of Sun Communication Ltd and is directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.

"While shooting for the film, I fell in love with Bangladesh once again," said Neha.

"I visited Bangladesh for the first time for working on this film. I thought of this project as a challenge, but I got to experience some of the best moments of my life. At a certain point in our shoot, I realised that I wasn't acting anymore. Bangladesh felt like home," added Alex.

"Amar Bangladesh" is available across all social media platforms of Meril and Radhuni.
