'Doctor Strange' trailer debuts at Comic-Con

A new trailer for Marvel's “Doctor Strange,” starring Benedict Cumberbatch, debuted Saturday night at Comic-Con.

In the film, which opens Nov. 4, Cumberbatch plays Stephen Vincent Strange, a former neurosurgeon who becomes the next Sorcerer Supreme and primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats. The character, created by Marvel Comics artist Steve Dikto, first appeared in comic-books in 1963.

TildaSwinton and ChiwetelEjiofor co-star in the superhero saga alongside Rachel McAdams and MadsMikkelson.

Scott Derrickson directed “Doctor Strange” from a script by Jon Spaihts.

Marvel's Kevin Feige is producing.
