Yonder releasing array of new music for Eid

Smartphone app-based music streaming service Yonder Music is launching a wide variety of new music by popular artistes of the country, marking Eid-ul Fitr. The campaign, titled “Longest Eid Carnival Season 2” was announced in a press conference recently at the headquarters of telecom operators Robi, who runs the platform.

The new releases include singles, EPs and albums. A new single from Arman Malik, new EPs from Shayan and Tonmoy Tansen, singles from Khalid, Porshi and Asif Akbar, and new albums from Partho, Bappa, Arnob, Jewel and Ruponkor, along with bands Shunno and Chirkutt are part of the campaign releases.

Yonder is also running a contest, where every day the highest streamer on the app will win a Samsung Galaxy J1 NXT handset. The contest runs till June 24.

Speaking at the press conference, Imrul Karim of Special Projects, of Yonder Music Asia said: “Since we started in Bangladesh, Yonder Music has worked to bring music lovers in Bangladesh the best that is out there, and it is with great pride that we are launching our Eid campaign, to introduce a whole bunch of new music just in time for Eid when everyone is happy and feeling the festivities. We know the fans will be as excited to hear the new music as we are about bringing it to them.”

Also present at the event were Mahbubul Alam Bhuiyan, VP Business Operations at Robi; Novara Noor, Country Manager, Bangladesh; high officials of Yonder music and Robi, along with the featured artistes.
