Star Melodies celebrating birth centenary of Abdul Ahad

Star Melodies, an initiative of The Daily Star promoting Bangla music, will host a celebration of the birth centenary of legendary composer Abdul Ahad by prominent and emerging singers today at 6:30 pm.

The event, which is to be held at The Daily Star-Bengal Arts Precinct of The Daily Star Centre, will feature songs by Sujit Mustafa, Anupama Mukti and Nandita. Sadya Afreen Mallick, Chief, Culture Initiatives, The Daily Star, will host and coordinate the programme sponsored by Dhaka Bank Ltd.
