Shelu Barua dedicates his new album to Lucky Akhand

Eminent singer Shelu Barua's new album “Chandraa Theke Rokeya Hall” is to be released on April 21 in memory of legendary singer-composer Lucky Akhand on his first death anniversary.

Shelu Barua informed that the song “Chandraa Theke Ferar Pothe” written by Kausar Ahmed Chowdhury and composed by Lucky Akhand, which was unreleased so far, has been included in this album. “Through this album I would like to pay a tribute to the celebrated music composer who was my mentor.” said Shelu Barua. "Lucky Akhand's affection, compelled me to prepare this album to be dedicated to Lucky Akhand” Shelu Barua farther added.

The album deserves a review. A song titled “Rokeya Hall'er Shei Path Diye” written by Shafat Khayam and tuned by Sheikh Saadi Khan will spell excitement for listeners, as a university hall is undoubtedly an unusual subject for a song. Listeners will find the number “Shaibal Cottage er Balcony te” written by Ferdous Hossain Bhuiya and tuned by Sheikh Saadi Khan is a nostalgic one. The album with four songs in total in Fuad Naser Babu's compositions will surely be interesting for  music lovers.
