Pry-Shunno record song for Rohingyas

Upcoming band Pry-Shunno have recorded a song highlighting the plight of the Rohingya refugees who have been seeking shelter in Bangladesh from ethnic violence in their homeland of Myanmar in recent weeks. A part of the song has been uploaded on the band's Facebook page.

The song, titled “Rohingya”, has been written by Faisal Noi and composed by Raju Bamachari. Raju, also the band leader, says “We have tried to portray the historic background of the Rohingya crisis and their sufferings, which was not an easy task. It's unbearable to see such inhumane ethnic cleansing at this point in human civilization, and that feeling of hurt has compelled us to make this song.”

Pry-Shunno's debut album, “Prarthona'r Moydane”, was released in Aptil this year. The band's lineup is: Monju (vocals), Raju (guitarist and band leader), Kamran (drums) and Jabed (bass).
