A new take on 'Esho He Boishakh'

In spirit of the Bengali New Year, the evergreen song, Esho He Boishakh, by Rabindranath Tagore, got a new version along with a music video. It is an initiative from Coca-Cola Bangladesh to spread the colours and music of Pohela Boishakh.

Dirtected by Prithwi Raj, the song features renowned artistes like Sadi Mohammad alongside Bappa Mazumder, Kona, Topu, Lincoln D'Costa, Shuvo, Nafis, Nandita, Liza and Ritu Raj.

What sets this music video apart is the use Coca-Cola bottles (glass and plastic), cans and caps to recreate the sound of various musical instruments like glockenspiel, pan flute, tambourin, xylophones and others.
