Celine Dion announces world tour and new album

Pop sensation Celine Dion recently announced the news about her latest venture during a live performance show in Los Angeles. The Courage tour - her first in the United States for 10 years - will kick off in Quebec City, Canada in September. Dion said the album, also called Courage, will be released around November.

The five-time Grammy winner mentioned that the album's title was inspired by the demise of her husband and manager Rene Angelil, who succumbed to throat cancer. “When I lost Rene, he wanted me back on stage. He wanted to make sure I was still practicing my passion,” said Dion. “I wanted to prove to him that I'm fine, we're fine, we're going to be ok. I've got this.”

The French-Canadian singer has been performing in Las Vegas on and off since 2003. She sang around the world in 2007 with her Taking Chances tour that was one of the highest-grossing tours of that year. Dion also performed in Asia and Australia in 2018 in support of her greatest hits album.
