Lalon academy begins journey in Natore

The Lalon academy of Natore began its journey on September 20, with a view to promote Lalon's ideology.

Deputy Commissioner of Natore and also the renowned Lalon singer, Shaheena Khatun laid down the foundation stone of Natore Lalon Academy at Jalalabad area of Natore sadar upazila on Wednesday afternoon.

Lalon researcher D. Azadur Rahman, also the deputy director of local government (DDLG) in Natore, Sohorab Hossain, secretary of Lalon Academy and Natore Press Club president Jalal Uddin were present, among others.

 “Truth and living in the path of righteousness is the foundation of Lalon's ideology. The world will be a better place if people follow the ideology of Lalon.” Shaheena Khatun said.

 “Lalon's spirit made extraordinary views to find the human being as the human being outside religion and castes. I wish Lalon Academy's successes,” added Azadur Rahman.

Lalon devotee Shariful Islam Sharif has donated 39 decimals land for the academy. “I think Lalon's way is the only way to be a real human. I have donated to promote the ideology of Lalon,” Sharif said.

Shaheena Khatun, Sohrab Hossain and KM Harun rendered Lalon songs at the event.
