Tareen's thoughts on Eid
Popular actor Tarin is well known for her versatility; aside from garnering accolades for her on screen roles, the actor is also an accomplished singer and dancer. In a recent conversation with The Daily Star, the artiste told us about what Eid means to her.
“I like to be in Dhaka on most Eid vacations and spend time with family. This year was fun packed too, surrounded by all my nieces, nephews, and other relatives."
"The excitement surrounding the Eid break has remained a constant with me throughout the years. When I was younger and more carefree, Eid was celebrated on the same scale as any other holiday. However, now, as a busy artiste all year round, Eid is the only respite from my busy life.”
“Apart from indulging myself with delicious food and getting together with my sisters, we all gather around the TV set to watch plays that are on air during the festival. I haven't done many assignments this time, but I have been enjoying the work of my peers.”
“My only wish this year was that people returned to their day to day lives with with ease. Many opted to travel outside the city to spend time with loved ones, and I wished them a safe journey home.”
