Srimangal and Sylhet are my favourite destinations: Putul

Former Close Up 1 contestant Putul, is now a popular singer and TV show host. She recently talked to The Daily Star about her passion for travelling:

Do you enjoy travelling?
Putul: A lot. Although I have made overseas trips several times, I'm crazy about my scenic country.

Does Cox's Bazar call out to you?
Putul: It used to be my favourite vacation destination in the country. But since talented young singer Abid drowned in the sea, there's this air of sadness about that place to me. 

Have you ever been to the hills?
Putul: Several times. My first choice is scenic Rangamati, which is adorned with a number of hills and hillocks.

Your favourite vacation destinations in the country?
Putul: Srimangal and Sylhet. I often go to Sylhet for my shows.

Where do you like to go on long overseas vacation?
Putul: Mauritius and Canada.

Tell us about your Eid programmes?
Putul: I am participating in a live programme on Rtv on the fifth day of Eid (today); I also rendered songs on Boishakhi TV on the third day. I sang on Jamuna TV on Eid day. Besides, I will host a musical programme on ntv on the seventh day.

Where did you travel on your Eid holidays?
Putul: Kolkata.
