Srabonno Tawhida, a prominent presenter, gained popularity after hosting ‘Rongin Pata’ on NTV. She  also happens to be a doctor. Recently, The Daily Star caught up with the artiste.

What is keeping you occupied these days?

Maasranga TV is coming up with a show called Power Play, which will be aired during the Ireland Tri-Nation Series.I am going to host Power Play and getting prepared for it currently. I am also busy with the quiz show Knowledge is Power on News 24.

What are your plans for Eid?

I will host quite a few Eid special television shows. I will start filming for them soon. I hope they will entertain the audience this Eid.

You have also hosted live programme. How challenging was it?

Hosting live is definitely more challenging than recording. You can easily rectify your mistakes while recording, but you cannot do that on a live programme. Hence, I have to be very careful while hosting live.

Are you looking forward to filming tele-fictions?

I enjoy hosting more to be honest. I have worked on a few tele-fictions before. I am going to work on a  tele-fiction this Eid. However, I want to prioritise anchoring at the moment.
