'Transformers' spinoff script writers revealed

The script-writing team for a series of spinoff "Transformers" sequel films has been revealed.

The stellar lineup includes "Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman, "Iron Man" writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, "Pacific Rim 2" scribe Zak Penn and Jeff Pinker, known for his work on "Amazing Spider-Man 2", Deadline reports. More writers are expected to be added to the ensemble in the future.

The sequels will be overseen by producer Akiva Goldsman, who is set to work with franchise director Michael Bay, executive producer Steven Spielberg and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura on the project.
