RIAZ ready to return to sets

Riaz Ahamed has been taking off some time from work, especially since the passing of his mother on September 3. He also traveled to Australia with his family shortly after, and spent some time there.

But now the actor is ready to get busy with 'Lights, Camera, Action'. “As an actor, all my plans are concentrated on this field. I have already talked to a few directors and will settle into work as soon as possible, and they shall be released soon as well,” commented the actor.

The three-time national award winning actor was not seen in any new tele-films or TV plays during Eid ul Azha festivals. His last venture was “Bhalo Theko”, which was aired on Banglavision during Eid ul Fitr, directed by Kobori and scripted by Akash Ranjan. However, the actor has little interest in working for the small screen. “There is no particular reason why I do not want to work in TV serials. I am content with appearing in single episode plays and telefilms,” explained the actor.
