Internationally renowned Bangladeshi mime artiste, Monsieur Partha Pratim Majumder had earlier donned a role in a film directed by Michel Hazanavicius, a French film director, producer, screenwriter and film editor best known for his 2011 Academy Award winning film, The Artist. The film won him the Academy Award for Best Director.

Partha Pratim Majumder is donning yet another role for the filmmaker's upcoming film, The Forgotten Princess. The story of the film focuses on the relationship crisis between a father and daughter.

Shooting for the film commenced in Paris, where Michel introduced Partha with popular French actor Omar Sy, who is a recipient of the César Award, which is the National Film Award of France. Omar, who is popular for his roles in films like X-Men and Jurassic World, will be seen playing the lead role for the film.

“Partha Pratim Majumder is an outstanding genius of mime and acting. He has toured the world with his Guru Marcel Marceau and acted in three of my previous films,” mentioned Michel while introducing Partha to Omar.

“I am yet to be introduced with many contemporary French actors. Omar Sy is truly a star. Besides, receiving candid praises from Michel Hazanavicius is a great blessing,” said Partha Pratim Majumder. He is the first Bangladeshi to be honoured with the prestigious title, Chevalier De L'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight in the Order of Fine Arts and Humanities) by the Ministry of Culture and Communication of France.
