Ferdous produces 'Postmaster 71'
Actor takes on a new avatar
Film star Ferdous ventured into production with “Ek Cup Cha” in 2014. Now, the actor is producing another film, titled “Postmaster 71”. The film, directed by Abir Khan and Rashed Shamim, will also star Ferdous in the lead role alongside Moushumi.
M.M. Rubel has written the screenplay and dialogues for the film based on a story by Ferdous.
“Postmaster 71” is being shot in different locations in Ishwardi, Pabna.
About the film, Ferdous said, “I am playing the role of a postmaster in the film which is set in 1971. Though the film is set against the backdrop of 1971, it will not directly show any war scene.”
“I have taken rigorous preparations for the role. Both I and Moushumi have donned a new avatar for the film. I hope the audience will appreciate the film.”
“Postmaster 71” also casts Al Mansur, Shahidul Alam Sacchu, Nijhum, Rubina, Ovi, along with some new faces from theatre.
