Amalgam of Arts in Rajasthan

An international art exhibition titled Amalgam of Arts at Chaturtik Art Gallery, was recently held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Around 70 artists and 200 artworks were exhibited form various nations. Participating countries were Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Iran, Zimbabwe and America. Collaborative opening ceremonies, and special award giving ceremony were features of the exhibition. In the programme, Artist Elias Hossain received a special award as a Bangladeshi artist for his work, Joy of Life.

During the exhibition, some of the notable participating artists were, Md Elias Hossain, Prof Dr Siddhartha Shankar Talukder, Fahmida Khatun (she presented her floral watercolour from Bangladesh),Bridget Mutasa from Zimbabwe (she presented her African expressionism portrait using watercolour), Samarendra Kumar Datta from India, Mahsa Isapour from Iran.

 Organised by Goutom Das and Vinita Bhatiwal, the exhibition attracted an array of talented artists from around the world under one roof, which left a promising impact on the participants.
