“Life 2018” opens at Gallery Cosmos

A group art exhibition by 33 women artists titled 'Life 2018' opened in the capital on Friday at the Gallery Cosmos.

Sidsel Bleken, Ambassador of Norway inaugurated the exhibition as special guest, where Tehmina Enayet, director of Gallery Cosmos was also present.

The month-long exhibition is dedicated to Freedom Fighter and noted sculptor Ferdousi Priyabhashini.

The participating artists at the exhibition include Afrozaa Jamil Konka, Akhtarun Nahar Ivy, Bipasha Hayat, Elham Hauque Khuku, Fahmida Enam Kakoli, Farida Zaman, Farzana Rahman Bobby.  Ferdousi Priyabhashini, Gulshan Hossain, Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Maksuda Iqbal Nipa, Mini Karim, Nasreen Begum, Nazia Andalib Preema, Rokeya Sultana,Shameem Subrana, Taiyaba Begum Lipi and Veenita Karim, among others.

The exhibition remains open until April 16, daily from 12 noon to 8pm.
