Wings of Hope - ends at Bengal Art Lounge

To celebrate the empowerment of women and express solidarity with Rana Plaza survivors, Bengal Art Lounge and the Embassies of the Nordic countries --Denmark, Norway and Sweden -- in partnership with Shako, Meena, Dhamrai Metal Craft and Fashion Revolution Bangladesh organised an exhibition showcasing artworks by 36 Rana Plaza survivors and eight artists of Shako- Women Artist Association of Bangladesh.

Sir Fazle Hasan Abed KCMG, Founder and Chairman, BRAC, graced the occasion as chief guest. Special guest Sultana Kamal, Chairperson, Transparency International Bangladesh, inaugurated the exhibition at Bengal Art Lounge on April 21. The exhibition concluded on April 24.
