Tagore celebrated by Mymensingh Nazrul Academy

Artistes of Mymensingh Nazrul Academy celebrated the birth of Nobel Laureate poet Rabindranath Tagore at Mymensingh Shilpakala Academy auditorium on Friday.

The artistes rendered solos and choruses, enthralling the huge audience gathered at the venue.

Ashik Sarker Tushar, a trainer of Nazrul Academy, led the cultural show.

A discussion marking the occasion was also held.

Terming Tagore as the greatest bard in Bengali literature, the speakers said, Tagore's ideal and writings should be followed in our every daily life to build an enlightened society.

Tagore could be a catalyst for change as he enriched Bengali literature and the nation through his prolific works, the 
speakers added.
