Syed Haq commemorated in Pabna

Versatile writer Syed Samsul Haq was commemorated in Pabna through discussion and cultural programme organised by Sammilito Sangshkritik Jote, Pabna on Friday night.

President of Sammilito Sangshkritik Jote Pabna, Abul Kashem, chaired the programme while cultural activist Vashkar Chowdhury, Firoz Khandaker and journalist Abdus Salam spoke on the occasion.

The speakers on the occasion focused the powerful verses of Shamsul Haq, saying the poet goes through the every aspect in life in his writings.

“Shamsul Haq found the different colours in life, and presented life as it is in his writings,” The speakers said. He was successful in writing poetry, prose and songs, and is a stalwart of Bangla literature.
