Spelling Bee Season 4 Grand finale tonight on Channel i

After eight months of competition, the most awaited evening of the year for students is around the corner, as the grand finale of Spelling Bee Season 4 is set to air tonight.

Zunaid Ahmed Palak, State Minister for the Ministry of ICT will attend the event as chief guest along with other distinguished guests including Mahfuz Anam, Editor and Publisher of The Daily Star; Muhammed Aziz Khan, Chairman of Summit Group; Ayesha Aziz Khan, Director of Summit Group; Professor M. Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor of Independent University Bangladesh, and Russell T Ahmed, CEO of Champs21.com 

The theme song of Spelling Bee will be performed by Shaik Salekin, Riad Hasan, Samiul Momith and Mithun where top 90 participants will accompany them.

This year, the competition featured over three lac participants from nearly 2200 participating schools. There was also a competition for the audiences through Spell Champs Android App, were top 30 scorers will receive a digital camera each sponsored by Bloop. 

Zunaed Rabbani as the official pronouncer of the event, while Rumana Malik Munmun as the anchor. 

The Champion Speller will win a magnificent trophy and a trip to Washington, DC accompanied by a parent. The 1st& 2nd runners-up will receive trophies also.

Keep a watch out for The Daily Star Spelling Bee Enlightened by Summit on Channel i and directed by Hassan Abidur Reja Jewel, at 7:50 pm tonight to see who walks away with the trophy.
