Salman Shah festival at BFDC

To observe the 45th birth anniversary of popular actor Salman Shah, a festival has been organised at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC). Titled “Salman Shah Utsab 2016” and organised by Salman Shah Smriti Parishad ,the event will take place at BFDC's Jashim Floor. Renowned actors, directors, producers and journalists will be present on the occasion.

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, will be present as the chief guest and Former cultural minister Syed Deedar Bakth will inaugurate the programme. A discussion will take place along with a cultural show; where actors  Shakib Khan, Omar Sani and Moushumi will perform.

Salman Shah was born on September 19, 1971. He started his journey as a child artiste, who eventually established himself as one of the popular actor in the industry. After working in 27 films, the actor died in 1996 at the young age of 25.
