Afzal Hossain to publish two books at Ekushey Boi Mela

Afzal Hossain is a name that needs no introduction, as he is one of the most popular television stars from the 80's. Fantastic news for fans of the renowned actor and director is that two of his books will be published at this year's Ekushey Boi Mela. One will be a poetry book, and the other will be a compilation of the columns on newspaper and other media that he has written for over the years. “The poetry book is titled 19 er Mokam,” Afzal Hossain told The Daily Star, “We did not fix the other one's name yet.” The actor also said that writing, for him, is something that comes from within. “Ekushey Boi Mela is something that we, as Bengali people, cherish. It feels great to be able to publish two books in this great festival,” he concluded. The books will both be published by Ananya.
