Eid shoots at the sea shores

Mosharraf Karim and Nawshaba in 'Fatman'.

Undoubtedly, the most beautiful location to shoot for Eid television programmes is Cox's Bazar.  It is the one place executive producers and directors rush out to for their Eid ventures. This year is no exception.  Many directors and actors have completed their Eid shoots at the Cox's Bazar beaches, while others are preparing for the same. The Daily Star recently caught up with some of them.

Noted television and film actor Mosharraf Karim will be seen in Sagor Jahan's seven-episode television serial, Fatman, which has been shot in Cox's Bazar.  The cast includes Nawshaba, AKM Hasan, Shanarei Devi Shanu, Arfan and many more. Mosharraf Karim will also begin shooting soon at the same location for another Eid TV serial directed by Shamim Zaman.

On the other hand, Zahid Hasan and Monalisa have completed shooting for an Eid TV fiction in Cox's Bazar, titled Amar Bou Jokhon Nayika. It is directed by Shakhawat Manik.

Actors Shajal and Mohona will also be seen in Mohan Khan's telefilm, Tumi Ekjoni. The cast and crew have just returned to Dhaka after shooting.

Meanwhile, actors Swagata and Shatabdi Wadood have been to Cox's Bazar for two telefilms, Dujoney Miley Eka and Bon Malire Bollo Radha. They are both directed by Sajjad Rahman.

These Eid telefilms and serials, which have been shot in Cox's Bazar, will be aired on different television channels. They will surely be interesting to watch.
