“Golmaal Again” brings back the original gang, plus ghosts

The “Golmaal” team of director Rohit Shetty and actors Ajay Devgn, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu, Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor are back again, with the “Golmaal Again” trailer that hit the web on Thursday night. The script, as always, is about a bunch of never-do-gooders who are in the jam for making a mistake. And making mistakes is what this team has honed to something of an expertise. But this time, it is not just a comedy; it has horror too. Apparently a 'soul' (played by Ashwini Kelsekar) with a propensity to enter the bodies of various characters is loose in the house.

Joining the “Golmaal” team this time are Parineeti Chopra, Tabu and many new jokes. And that is what keeps this franchise fresh. Talking about the film, Arshad (who plays Madhav) told PTI, “Had they (their roles) been boring I would have been fed up. Here ('Golmaal Again'), there's no space to feel like that. This time too we have new jokes and skits.”

Before the trailer came out, Ajay took to social media to share new posters of the upcoming film. While one poster teased the entire cast, on the others the focus was on the original gang of boys and how they try to ward off their numerous mistakes in the film.

The film releases October 20, on Diwali.
