Bengal Parampara Sangeetalaya opens admission

Bengal Parampara Sangeetalaya, Bengal Foundation's Classical Music School, has opened its admission, for students of khyal and dhrupad vocals, sitar, sarod and tabla.

Students aged from 7-30 with basic training of classical music can apply. Interested applicants may apply online through Bengal Foundation's web site by February 8, or contact +8801844050574 for instructions. Dates of admission test will be informed upon registration.

The admission test will focus on musical talent and commitment to learn. Education is provided for free, under internationally-reputed classical artistes – Pt. Suresh Talwalkar (tabla), Pt. Kushal Das (sitar), Pt. Tejendra Narayan Majumdar (sarod) and Pt. Uday Bhawalkar (dhrupad vocals). Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar is the principal of the school.
