All not well with Millien?

All not well with Millien?

All the hype and interest before yesterday's match regarding Sheikh Russel's latest recruit, Pascal Millien, came to nothing as the 27-year-old midfielder sat out and watched his teammates go down 1-2 against Muktijoddha Sangsad.
The former Tampa Bay and Sligo Rovers midfielder who arrived in Dhaka on January 16, the day Sheikh Russel took on Brothers Union, and had spoken of his eagerness to take the field was a surprise omission from the team list in yesterday's match.
When asked at the post-match press conference as to why the talented Haitian midfielder was not even on the substitute's bench, the Sheikh Russel coach Maruful Haque replied, “He is ill. He's hospitalised with diarrhoea.”
Another source at the club however said that contract negotiations with Millien have not quite gone smoothly and that midfielder was absent from the club tent since Tuesday morning.
