5 JMB men get death for killing prosecutor

A Jhalakathi court today handed death to five members of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) for killing a public prosecutor in 2007.

Additional district judge of Jhalakathi passed the order in the case this afternoon for killing advocate Haider Hossain on April 11, 2007, reports our Jhalakathi correspondent.

The convicts are: Murad Hossain, Amir Hossain, Tanvir Hossain, Belal Hossain and Sagir Hossain. Among them, Belal and Sagir remain absconding from beginning of the trial of the case.
