4 held with over 29,000 Yaba tablets in capital

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested four people along with 29,800 Yaba tablets and Tk 11 lakh from Matuail in the capital early today.
The arrestees are Helal Uddin, 36, and his associates Boni Amin, 50, Nazmul Hasan, 27, and Ibrahim Hawladar, 26.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab conducted a raid at a house around 4:30am and arrested the people with the banned item, Mufti Mahmud Khan, director for legal and media wing of Rab, told reporters at a press briefing at Rab headquarters.
The Rab team also seized Tk 11,83,329 and a motorbike during the drive, he said.  
Helal used to smuggle Yaba tablets into the country from Myanmar and sell those at different parts of the country through his network, the Rab official said.
