At least 35 people were killed and several feared injured on Saturday when a truck collided with two buses on the RCD Highway in Balochistan’s Hub area, DawnNews reported.

The accident occurred when two speeding buses collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction on the highway.

According to eye witnesses, after the collision the vehicles caught fire which resulted in the deaths and injuries of several people, the report added.

The truck was carrying petrol which caused the spontaneous burning of the vehicles.

Also, the injured were taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

After the incident, the flow of traffic was suspended and vehicles queued up on the highway.
