35 fake freedom fighters' certificates cancelled

Ministry of Liberation War Affairs has cancelled fake freedom fighters' certificates of 35 government officials and employees including a deputy secretary.

The ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Monday, Bangla daily Prothom Alo reports.

Among the 35 government staff, certificates of 30 have been cancelled based on reports from National Security Intelligence (NSI).
