Three get death sentence in Khulna murder case

A Khulna court today sentenced three accused to death in a murder case filed in 2015.

Khulna's Public Safety Disturbance Crime Prevention Tribunal Judge Md Saifuzzaman announced the verdict in the case around noon, reports our Khulna correspondent.

The convicts are Bibek Mondol, Saugoto Mondol and Arunav Roy. All the convicts remain absconding.

The court ordered to hang the convicts until their deaths, according to Prosecutor Arif Liton Mahmud and the court's bench assistant Md Sayedul Haque Shaheen.

According to the murder case, Gobinda Sana, an employee of Dakop upazila's Shri Agro Limited, was murdered between November 19 and 21 in 2015. Later his body was thrown into the Dhaki river. His body was recovered from the river on November 22, 2015.
