23 killed in Baghdad series bomb blast

At least 23 people have been killed in the latest series of bomb explosions in and around the Iraqi capital Baghdad, officials say.

The blasts come a day after at least 23 people were killed in bomb explosions in the Iraqi capital.

As well as Baghdad, car bombers targeted the city of Hilla, south of the capital.

Last month, more than 1,000 people were killed in attacks which mostly hit Shia and government targets.
