2 killed in Nilphamari road crash

Two people were killed and five injured when a bus rammed an ambulance in Kishoreganj upazila of Nilphamari today.

The deceased are: Akbar Ali, 50 and Moner Ali, 45, residents of Debiganj of the district, reports our Nilphamari correspondent.

The accident took place at Dhareabazar around 10:30am when Moner was taking to his sick daughter Khadiza, 12, to Rangpur Medical College and Hospital (RMCH), said Shah Alam, officer-in-charge of Kishoreganj Police Station.

The injured were rushed to the RMCH.
