2 construction workers electrocuted in Dhaka

Two construction workers were electrocuted at Islambagh in Old Dhaka this morning.

They were primarily identified as Asadul, 20, and Khara, 26.

The duo were working in an under-construction site in the area this morning and came into contact of a live wire, said Inspector Mozammel Haque, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp.

On-duty doctors at the DMCH pronounced them dead after locals rushed them there, he said. The body is being kept at the morgue.
