Nrityanchal delegation returns from China
A delegation of 29 member of dancers of reputed dance school Nrityanchal came back home from China on Thursday, after participating in the 4th China Xinjiang International Dance Festival 2015, held at Urumqi and four other cities of Xinjiang. Nrityanchal presented classical, modern, folk and fusion dances at three stages of the festival, which were enjoyed by houseful audiences. Ambassador of Bangladesh in China attended Nrityanchal's performance on July 24.
The festival opened on July 20 and will end on August 5, where troupes from 12 deferent countries and regions, six Chinese groups and eight Xinjiang local troupes are participating in 75 programmes in 10 theatres. The participating countries are: Bangladesh, Belarus, The Russian Republic of Tatarstan, Turkey, Serbia, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Algeria, Australia and China Hong Kong.
Nrityanchal was invited to participate in the festival by the organizers, through the Embassy of China in Bangladesh.
Noted dancer-choreographer was the dance director of the team, which was led by Muhammad Jahangir, coordinator of Nrityanchal.
