Fighting a
Disabling
System

The basic demand of the physically disabled in our country is to be included in the mainstream. Not to be favoured with special treatment but to have access to what everyone else does. But the lack of facilities and simple infrastructural changes that could help disabled people to lead more productive, meaningful lives, reflects the absence of vision, not to mention compassion, of our so-called civilised society.
