Amazon boss Jeff Bezos richest man in the world

Amazon founder, chairman and chief executive officer Jeff Bezos has been ranked as the richest man in the world with a net worth of $112 billion, Forbes has stated.
The new rank found Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates at second place with net value of $90 billion. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg stood fifth with a value of $71 billion.
Forbes’ annual ranking of world’s billionaires, published Tuesday, found out that there are now more billionaires in the world than ever, and they are richer than ever too.
There are a record 2,208 billionaires in the world, up from 2,043 in 2017, according to Forbes. And the average wealth of the billionaires is $4.1 billion, a record high.
"The superrich continue to get richer, widening the gap between them and everyone else," according to a Forbes statement. Indeed, 67 percent (1490) of the billionaires are self-made, it said.
The top 10 billionaire list are respectively: Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Bernard Arnault, Mark Zuckerberg, Amancio Ortega, Carlos Slim Helu, Charles Koch, David Koch, and Larry Ellison.
