West Indies won today's World T20 Group 2 Match against Australia by 6 wickets at Sher-e Bangla Stadium in Dhaka.
Caribbean skipper Darren Sammy was awarded Man of the Match for his 34-run match-winning innings off only 16 balls.
Earlier, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first.
The Aussies put a target of 179 runs in front of the Caribbeans.
Aussie batsmen -- Glenn Maxwell and Brad Hodge -- put 45 and 35 runs respectively to the scorecard.
Samule Badree, Marlon Samuels and Sunil Narine picked up couple of wickets each for the Caribbean side.
West Indies spared 15 extra runs.
In reply, the Caribbeans reached the victory with 2 balls remaining in their hands.
Chris Gayle scored the most, 53 runs off 52 balls, while all West Indian batsmen reached double-figure mark.
Mitchell Starc picked up 2 wickets for Australia.
