10 militants sentenced to death in CPB bomb blast case

Ten members of the banned militant outfit Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami (Huji) are sentenced to death by a Dhaka court in a case filed over bomb blasts at a CPB rally in 2001.

A top leader of Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islam Bangladesh was attempting to reorganise the banned outfit after returning from Dubai, said CTTC officials after arresting him and two others yesterday.
