Azad Rahman’s significant musical collections handed over to Bangladesh Film Archive

In 1969, he made his debut in music direction with the film “Aguntuk”. In 1977, he was honoured as the best music composer for the film “Jadur Bashi”, and in 1993, he received the National Film Award as Best Music Director and Best Singer for the film “Chadabaj”.

Mishuk Munier’s memorabilia, personal effects donated to Bangladesh Film Archive

The personal effects includes Mishuk’s camera, lenses, flashguns, camera accessories, Ohmmeter, slide, photo album, mini camera, passport, ID card, pocket watch, wrist watch, negatives etc.

Salman Shah's classic films to be screened at Bangladesh Film Archive

Bangladesh Film Archive is set to showcase two iconic films featuring the beloved Bangladeshi film star, Salman Shah, on the big screen. The Salman Shah Fan Club has announced that the movies "Jibon Songsar", directed by Zakir Hossain Raju, and "Bikkhov", directed by Mohammad Hannan, will be screened at the Bangladesh Film Archive on the upcoming Friday.

“Peace Film Festival 2023” to begin on October 28

“Peace Film Festival 2023” has been organised to encourage an integrated and peaceful Bangladesh with the participation of creative young filmmakers. This two-day-long festival will be held on October 28 and 29 at the Bangladesh Film Archive in the Agargaon area.
