7th March to be observed as National Historic Day
The Cabinet has approved a proposal for declaring 7th March as a ‘National Historic Day’ in a bid to observe the day nationally, commemorating the historic 7th March Speech of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

It is this writer's view that the 7th March speech was Bangabandhu's finest hour. He stood far taller than ever before and with him we too stood tall as well, far taller than we could never imagine or even dream of till then.
