By adding 'Surprisingly' before 'Great Read', I'm NOT in anyway trying to imply that good work is not expected from this writer. In fact, there were no expectations whatsoever – at all from Wasim Subhan Choudhury!
Being a huge fan of short-stories – which makes me scrutinize them more, I have infact just discovered Mr Choudhury as a writer. His book has only hit the stands less than a week ago at the Boimela 2017, and this is his first ever compilation of short-stories or any other kind of fictional works.

In this era of 'novels sell only', its depressing, trying to look for compilations of short stories every year on Ekushey Boimela. One finds just a handful and they end up being very mediocre. Where short-stories nred more time construct, most of them are always written in a hurry.
This book, however, is definitely for the mature readers. Within the eleven stories, the writer changes settings of the stories- from sociopolitical references to feelings of raw revenge. A young man Tahmid from Bogura, who wants to become the winner of a TV Channel Reality Show and become Dhaka's number 1 artist, but so does Mili. There is of course only one winner. So do they both win, or do they lose -- maybe much more than the competition.
There are 10 more stories with a variety of plots and twists. Grab the book now!
