'Quazi Awar Hossain' and 'Sheba Prokashoni' - needs no introduction. Neither does 'Hasan Khurshid Rumi- this 'Puppet Master' is responsible for creating writers and translators – probably even he doesn't know how many. Being the Editor of countless translated Books of all classic- thrillers, horrors, shorts, novels, non-fictions, etc.; and of course, quoting one of Humayun Ahmed's book dedication to Mr. Rumi - “The Man Holding the Flag of Bangladesh's Science-fiction Scene”.
Then Comes Cartoonist Mehedi Haque of UNMAD fame, now – Publisher/Editor of Dhaka Comics, for whom too, an introduction is a sheer waste of words.
Knowing these names involved between covers, I'm sure you wouldn't need any other reason to buy this marvelously covered Graphic Novel with five stunningly presented stories, all adapted and inspired foreign stories - 'Of Missing Persons' (অন্য কোনখানে) by Jack Finn, 'Pile of Trouble' (ঝামেলা) by Henry Kutner, 'A Light Case of Limbo'(ক্যান্সার) by Lloyd Bigol, 'The Blue Cross' (ওস্তাদ) by G. K. Chesterton, and 'A nice Touch' (পরকীয়া) by Man Rubin.
Nothing more to say about this Thriller Graphic Novel, so I will end this quoting from the ending of Mr. Rumi foreword- "Just indulge yourself into this combination of the 'Sharpness' of Mr. Hossain's thrillers and the 'Untamable' drawing style of these five talented graphic artists! You will NOT regret!" - Oh well, it worked for me!
