SAFF U-16 football in August

The SAFF U-16 Football Championship will be held in Sylhet from August 7-16, confirmed Bangladesh Football Federation yesterday.

Hosts Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, split into two groups, will be taking part in the 10-day tourney. All participating teams are expected to arrive in Bangladesh by August 5.

Meanwhile, SAFF U-19 Championship will take place in Kathmandu, Nepal from August 20 to 29 with all eight members nation taking part.
